Chipotle Chicken Taquitos

Farrah’s 6" Flour Tortillas
Cooked shredded chicken
Chipotle sauce
Cheddar cheese
Toothpicks
Frying oil

Mix your shredded chicken, chipotle sauce and cheese in a bowl, ensure the mixture is wet enough to bind together.

Spoon the mixture onto one side of the tortilla and roll your tortilla tightly into a flute, fasten the end with a toothpick so it wont unravel while frying. 

Heat a neutral frying oil like rice brand or canola in a pan and fry each taquito until they puff crisp and golden. Drain on paper towel and don’t forget to remove the toothpick before serving.

Serve hot with a side of fresh guacamole and salsa. This dish awakens your taste buds and is the ultimate bar snack or starter. Goes down well with a cold Cerveza. 

  • Less is more, use filling sparingly so you can achieve a tight roll on your taquito.
  • Try using pulled pork or shredded beef.
  • Add some chopped jalapenos for a little bit of a kick.
